Too much realism without the visual cues and physical feedback a driver gets from the steering wheel (and seat of their pants) isn’t fun. Some sim racing titles are actually harder than driving a real car on track because they spend a huge amount of time on a realistic tire and physics model, without considering that the player doesn’t have any of the sensations that they would have in a real car.
